I'm so tired of saying, "Maybe next year." I hope they do it this year! My grandma was a die hard fan, she went to the convention every year. She passed away without seeing her beloved Cubbies win the World Series. GO CUBBIES!!!!
My Nana's from Boston and a life long Red Sox fan. She was born in 1913 and had to wait a really long time to see them win. Luckily, she's still going strong at 94 & still busts my balls all the time about her team in first & mine way the heck down in the standings. Cracks me up.
Comments like, "John, I was looking at the standing and didn't see your Yankees. oooooooh, wait, here there are ALL THE WAY down here."
