The post in which I'm not sure how to title

I just spent some time reading my blog, and stopped at the posts from this spring when my husband lost his job.

I'm not sure I've truly recovered from that. I realize he was only unemployed a month. He's back in the work force and I should be thankful. I am. I'm thankful and grateful that we both have jobs. And while we need to watch money, we're okay.

However, it just feels like I lost something then that I haven't gotten back. I have no idea what that might be. And most days I don't feel like there's anything 'wrong' with me either.

But I'm afraid there is. Things I once loved? I'm not finding myself doing them anymore.

Blogging? Pretty much out the window.
Photography? I've touched my SLR once in the last several months.

I've been tired, I've been moody and I've put on weight.

So how can one still believe her brain is normal when there are so many signs saying it's not?

sounds like your in the middle of depression. my husband was unemployed for a year at one point. it's taken us 6 years to dig out from under that. i agree with mackey. you should go see a doctor or whoever you feel comfortable with to vent. your world was shaken up. thank goodness his unemployment didnt last long. i had the help of some very good friends. i will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. take care.

You'd be amazed at how much good ol exercise will help. Just go for a walk everyday and within days you'll start to feel better, I promise.

Ugh. I know that feeling. I agree, it sounds like a bit of a depression. I also agree, that getting out and taking a walk will help! Eating fresh foods, and maybe taking some fish oils would bring you around.

Give you doctor a call and see about trying that out before medications, you might be surprised that it works. But do keep your mind open to meds, since fall and winter are coming up quick!

everyone has ups and downs. Some good suggestions already from the others.

Perhaps you should have your thyroid checked. Here's a good checklist of symptoms for your reference.
